Attorney Discipline Unit of the Supreme Court
The Attorney Discipline Unit is responsible for the processing and adjudication of formal complaints of attorney misconduct filed by the State Bar of Arizona. Information about the process, as well as the hearing calendar and links to hearing officer reports for disciplined lawyers may be accessed on this website. Links to current rule change proposals are also accessible through this site or the Supreme Court website.
Center for Professional Responsibility (CPR)
The Center for Professional Responsibility is a section of the American Bar Association that has provided national leadership and vision in developing and interpreting standards and scholarly resources in legal and judicial ethics, professional regulation, professionalism and client protection since 1978. The Center provides various resources relating to professional responsibility.
Maricopa County Bar Association (MCBA)
The MCBA is the largest voluntary bar association in Arizona. The MCBA publishes a monthly newspaper publication and also provides a lawyer referral service.
State Bar of Arizona
The Rules of Professional Conduct may be accessed through the State Bar’s website, as well as Ethics Opinions and access to information about the Law Office Management Assistance Program (“LOMAP”) and the Member Assistance Program (“MAP”). The State Bar also currently provides access to a research database (Find Law), and provides a searchable database of past articles in the Arizona Attorney magazine.
